Fine Arts Instructional Materials Currently in Adoption

Textbook Adoption and Distribution
The Texas Constitution, Article VII, Section 3, requires that the State Board of Education (SBOE) set aside sufficient money to provide free textbooks for children attending public schools in the state. In accordance with this constitutional requirement and provisions of the Texas Education Code, a portion of the Available School Fund is set aside yearly by the SBOE to purchase instructional materials. The Texas Legislature appropriates funds to be expended on instructional materials. Each class is entitled to the specified quota of materials. Teachers should contact their local district textbook coordinator to order materials.
