| About
the Cadre
The Fine Arts Training Cadre was established by the
Center for Educator Development in Fine Arts (CEDFA)
to provide a coordinated, statewide network of support
for the implementation of the Fine Arts Texas Essential
Knowledge and Skills. The Training Cadre consists
of recognized master fine arts teachers who participate
in annual "Trainer of Trainers" workshops conducted
by CEDFA and who serve as resources for other teachers
in the state. Members of the Cadre are selected on
the basis of their professional experience and reputation
and are called upon to provide quality professional
development in art, dance, music, and theatre for
regional education service centers and school districts
throughout Texas.
